I am 42 year young man who have rediscovered riding from his youth. I have a 8 year old Rocky Mt. horse and a 2 1/2 year old Arab/Tenessee Walking Horse filly. While I love em both to death, it is like having your girlfriend and wife living next to each other. It is exciting and sometime exhausting.
I am trainging and saddle breaking my filly. She is the one horse who brought me back into riding, and I cant wait to get to a point where I can ride her. I will go to a trainer for 30 days, but I want him to focus in on the advance stuff which I am not quite comfartable in teaching her.
I have a beautiful girlfriend and she has two horses herself. She is also breaking in a filly as well and we are working as a team together to help each other. I do have to admit at times I want to butt in and help her (even though she has WAY more experience than I do.)
We live on six acres of land and we are making our riding home slowly but surely. Our current goals is to make a round pen, feeding stalls, and finish fencing in the remaining 2 acres of land.
We are also stupid with animals and I come from a friend who were dog breeders. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats. As for now, the camp is closed for anymore animals. lol
We hope to have children in the next 2 years, and maybe get them into riding (if they know what is good for them.)In the mean time, we are also looking to breed my Rocky Mt mare when I am done with my filly.
