I have been involved with horses most of my life, even if it was tagging along with my mom's horse owning friends as a kid. At the age of twelve, my mom bought my first horse for me. He was just three years old and totally green, but she said that he had the most intelligent eyes (so she bought him!).

Dusty was a QH/Morgan cross that taught me ALOT in the years that I had him and taught my first Arabian his manners as well. Rainman was not quite a yearling when we bought him, and was not gelded so learned to be a gentleman from my sensible gelding.

From there my passion for Arabians has continued until present day and we look forward to many years to come!

Next came Hallany Sahib AKA Llany...

And she was in foal with Hallanys Starlet AKA Star...

Then we got JV Miss Mischief AKA Missy...

And added our "Golden Girl" Sun Diamonds AKA Diamonds...

We then brought the black beauty TSEA Sahkara AKA Kara home, but she was promptly stolen by mom who has loved her dearly...

And Kara was in foal with TSEA Egyptian Magick AKA Coalby...

We recently added Shizanas Legacy K AKA Shizana...

And she is being bred to the Phara stallion Sun Reflection (Eclipse of the Sun x Rose of Phara) for a foal that will double up on the blood of The Midnight Sun, a stallion that passed away before joining us in 2004 where he would have been bred to Sun Diamonds.

Our newest member of the SunStar Arabians family, a stallion that we have followed and admired since his birth in 2004...the very classic and most look-a-like descendant of Lewisfield Sun God, The Golden Sun (Burgundy Sun x The Sun Heiress) ~~ deceased June 3, 2011

I love reading a good book when I get a minute, or going out to get photos of horses and anything else that sounds interesting. I am currently going to try my hand at painting someday when I get some spare time

The unconditional love and the peace that you get from taking care of them. Enjoying that sweet smell of hay, shavings, grain, and leather in the barn...and of course, the freedom that you feel while riding.

Trail Riding is my favorite "therapy", but I also love driving and dressage. I hope to be showing sometime in the near future, which should be interesting as I have been away from the show scene for quite a while.
